Need idea for pencil art project?

My project has to be in pencil. The prompt is we have to draw it and it has to show an inside/outside setting, scene, what-have-you. So when you think about it it's basically anything; you just have to know if its inside or outside when you look at it. I kind of wanted to do something portraying the inside/outside concept. For example, I wanted to do a skeleton coming out of my closet for the "skeleton in my closet" idiom but not anymore because it seems too cliche.
It doesn't necessarily have to be realistic either, obviously, and it can be inside/outside anything (like "inside my head"). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

How about a close up detailed drawing of a bug on a window sill?
A close up of something you might find indoors outdoors, like a matchbox car, a kitchen utensil, an old slipper. You can use the object with full values and include weeds, bugs or what have you (bird feather).
A birdbath that was knocked over with a cat peeking around it...
An empty coffee cup and spoon (in detail) with a bookmark half off the table.
