Need helping writing an essay?

The essay is on The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and the topic:

"In Kate Chopin's The Awakening, protagonist Edna Pontellier is said to possess 'That outward existence which conforms, the inward life that questions.' Identify a character in The Scarlet Letter who outwardly conforms while questioning inwardly (Dimmesdale). Then write an essay in which you analyze how this tension between outward conformity and inward questioning contributes to the meaning of the novel. Do not merely summarize the plot."

I'm not asking for it to be done for me, but I always have trouble opening essays; I also don't know what I want my body paragraphs to be. But if someone can get the ball rolling for me (just telling me what my body paragraph's should be about would be more than enough), it would be greatly appreciated.
