I got a couple of fish about a week ago, and I noticed maybe yesterday or the day before that my Dalmation Molly, Balloon Molly, and Black Molly all have weird sicknesses of some sort.

The Black Molly started out having some sort of white cottony stuff on both of its eyes, and now its starting to have a little on its mouth and around its head. The Dalmation Molly is hard to explain, it's like its skin looks like bumpy or something, but it's hard to tell with its pattern. And one of my Balloon Molly's eyes is like cloudly, and a little puffy, kind of looks like the same thing on the Black Molly's eyes, except bigger.

I'm not sure what to do, because I have two other fish, a snail and an aquatic frog and they all seem fine, except maybe the snail hasn't been coming all the way out the past two days.

Will include pictures if I can get any good ones.

Ok go to the pet store and get Fungus Clear-Tank Buddies. The white cottony stuff is probably ich, or a bacterial growth infection. The bumpy skin pattern is also a common fungal condition although I forget what its called. And the balloon molly has ich too. I would separate the healthy fish right away. Put them in something else, whether its a pot or pan, anything you have available. Put the healthy looking fish together and monitor them for any symptoms. The medication is pretty harsh and can kill fish, so if its not necessary avoid it. Then for the sick fish, empty out half of the water, and replace it with fresh water that has already been treated with a dechlorinator. Now drop in the fungus clear tablet and make sure you have high aeration for the next few days. I used one of those air stones and turned the pump on high. I was amazed at how well this stuff worked. I treated the fish at night, went to work the next day and when I got home, about 75% of the white cotton stuff was gone. The next day, almost all of it was gone, just some discoloration and irritated looking scales. Within a week, my fish looked great. Also I posted a link of the kind I used so you can make sure thats the same one. My boyfriends fish had the same problem and he used another kind, his fish died. Then he got another fish, it developed the same issue. so he used the kind I used that time, his fish is doing well like mine are :) Good luck! Act quick, these diseases kill in a matter of hours.

A) Clean the water

B) Change the food

C) Change the room (temperature wise)

D) Go to a vet.

Sounds like a cotton fungus. You really should put this fish into a hospital tank and treat them there.=

My fish have never had ick but thats what it sounds like.

RAISE YOUR WATER TEMPERATURE TO 84-86
go to the pet store and get an ick treatment, and add aquarium salt.

they should get better soon, you need to do this asap or they could die.
