need help with sprint ppc-6700 flashed to cricket

Everything works except I can't receive mms messages, can send them fine. When I receive one a quick error screen pops up saying its preparing vision services error code 1012. Is there a work around for it? I have searched all over these forums, and google and all I can find is info on the xv 6700 and those don't seem to work for sprint. Any help or a link pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.
 
Head to PPCGeeks.com, Apache section, and download either a generic, Verizon, or Alltel ROM. The problem is with the Sprint customizations that are built into your ROM.
 
If you cook your own ROM for Cricket (read the threaRAB at PPCGeeks for the easy instructions), then no. If you use someone else's ROM, you will need to retype your WAP and MMS settings. Your text and voice will both still work. If you have any trouble, just post here and I'll help you out.
 
No problem. I went through the same thing a way's back on my 6700, and everyone here just got done going through this with our Sprint 6800's.
 
I know I'm a little behind the curve on it, but my sister had this one that she'd only used for about two weeks before switching to tmoble and a blackberry pearl. So its free for me and practically brand new, couldnt pass it up
