need help with paxil and sex drive!!?

i take 20mg and i still feel how you are feeling. sometimes i don't know if its that medicine or just me because im getting older too. if you feel like you want to try less and see if that works, then you should, just be careful and see how your mood is
 
okay so i've been on 40 mg of Paxil for years, like at least 10. Now that i'm getting older and in serious relationships it's getting increasingly frustrating that I have no desire for sex, and on the rare occassion when I do...i get nothing. Anyway, I'm not comfortable talking with my doctor about it..he's an old man. I've been thinking about just lowering my dosage to 30ish, my question is, do you think it would make a difference? or do I need to be off of my paxil completely to notice a difference? thanks!
 
well i think u should try taking a lower dose first. and if it doesn't work, even lower.
 
I would talk to your doctor. I'm positive that your doctor has heard it before. He is going to want to know why you want a lower dose now anyway.
