My car started acting up about a week ago. Initially I thought i had put bad gas in it because everytime i got to a quarter of a tank it would start sputtering and jerking and then when you pressed the gas it wouldn't go any where and adventually just cut off. So from a little advice from a friend i put a fuel injector in and filled my tank up. This time when i got to a half a tank it did it again, so someone suggested a fuel filter was clogged. I just got that put on and i ran it until it was almost on E no problems put gas in it and ran it and today it got to a quarter of a tank and it starts doing it again. I can restart my car and it will drive a mile or so and then it starts jerking and i have to pull over and repeat until i can make it to a gas station and put gas in it. As soon as it goes above a quarter tank it is fine. I've already had my fuel pump checked and was told that was fine so now i'm at a stand still. Anyone with any suggestions???? Also i have noticed when it does that my engine temp goes a little above half way mark and it usually stays on half.
