Okay, so how can you tell if you need a new 02 sensor? And How can you tell if you need new spark plugs? My car is starting to act up, it acts as if it wants to stall after i make a complete stop, when going 70 or so it doesn't feel right, hopefully someone can help me.....
Thank you for your replies, the check engine light is on. Even when the car is in idle it sounds bad....where can i find the fuel filter, i was told from a guy at midas that my fuel filter was internal

A sign of a faulty sensor is excessive fuel consumption and poor running, but the sensor has not effect on the fuel mapping until it reaches a high temperature. Worn spark plugs can also cause the same result. If your car runs poorly when cold then the problem may not be the o2 sensor. It could be a faulty idle advance motor, or more commonly a vacuum leak caused by one of the millions or little rubber pipes coming off somewhere around the engine, or leaking due to cracking. Check all the vacuum lines first, then replace your plugs & air & fuel filters, & get the leads tested. If that fails, then check fuel pressure / fuel injectors, mass airflow meter.
