Need help with knowing what to do to my maybe flooded car ? HELP !!!!!!?

This evening my car ending up in a ditch with around 40cm of water & on its left side down, now i dont think the water got into the engine its-self but i am unsure weather it did.
This body of the car is luckily undamaged but the engine now wont star, went i got it out of the ditch it started probably 3rd time and then it wouldnt start it again & the tow truck man kept on turing it over with his foot on the accelorater.

What can i do to fix both of these probabilitys?

On a sunny day, go and take out all of your spark plugs, and then try to start the engine without the plugs being in its holes.

This may get rid of the water that was in the cylinder.
..............or drain all of your oil, and see if there was water in the oil. If yes, then ..........dump the water and put only the oil back into the engine.
And try to start it. With the spark plugs back in their holes.

You may have tripped the fuel pump accident switch. This will turn off the fuel in case of an accident. There should be a reset in the trunk, maybe behind the lining.

You should let it rest, but if you do have water in the gas, you might try some "Heat" or other some such product. You can get water in there just from a low tank and a high air moisture content. It's possible, but unlikely you punctured the tank.

If it's actually flooded with gas, you can usually just let it rest and try it later. Opening the throttle body (pumping the pedal) will just make it worse if that's the case. If you call up your local mechanic and are savvy with how you word the question, they probably can just tell them problem over the phone without asking you to bring the car in.

Another possibility is that your starter is damaged or the circuit is bad, which would be an electrical problem. That sounds like it is a bad thing, but sometimes it can simply be a blown fuse.
