...have no idea what to do.? ok, so our prof gives us a mock quiz, and i dont know how to answer this particular question.

"A floating point is represented in IEEE single precision format as 4214C000h. Derive its actual floating point value in decimal."

i mean, i know how to convert binary into floating point, but how do you convert from floating to point to decimal? and what does hex have to do with anything? im extremely confused. could you please show it to me step by step and explain.. i'd really appreciate it... thanks!:D
