Need help with first 2 lines of a poem?

I've got the whole poem written out. The first 2 lines just… sound wrong. This happens all the time with my writing, I don't know how else to put it. It's a free verse, no rhyme, no pattern. The first two lines are currently
The little butterfly
She thought she could fly
I don't want them to have the same ending, but now they both end in fly. I would prefer to stay in the omniscient point of view as the butterfly represents myself. Also I need the message and meaning to stay the same or I'll have to rewrite the rest. How else can i put these lines? Any help is appreciated. Thank you. =)
