Need help with fashion history!?

of course i know the basics (Worth, Madame Gres, Coco Chanel...) but i dont know that much. like for example identifying different designers works. (sometimes i can though) i tried reading on wikipedia, but theres so much and i get tired! i love fashion no doubt, but i only know about some like ysl, dior, balenciaga, balmain, marc jacobs. like the easy ones. need help
