I have a 2009 Specialized Myka HT (http://www.specialized.com/ca/en/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?arc=2009&spid=38429&menuItemId=0) . I recently purchased a mag trainer for riding indoors and tried to do research on it. I read that knobby tires increase noise and can get damaged, so I wanted to purchase a road tire to use on the trainer. I'm having trouble finding a tire that's 26 x 2.0. I'm just a recreational cyclist, so I don't want to spend a fortune for a tire that is just going to get beat up on the trainer.

Any suggestions? Do chain sporting goods stores carry items like this?
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bell-Sports-26-Road-Tire/15188807 I had purchased this one and when I tried to put it on it didnt seem to fit. Seemed too narrow, for lack of a better word (Sorry, dont know too much about bikes)
Perhaps the phrase to use is the sidewalls are too small?
