I've been writing novels for a few years now, and I want to tackle the post-apocalyptic genre, but in a way that has never been approached before, at least in the mainstream kind of way. I'm suffering from a bit of writers block unfortunately lol. I've gathered inspiration from many different areas on the subject, ranging from movies, books, television shows, and other short stories, but I can't seem to find a plot line or apocalyptic event that is its own incarnation. Can anyone please jumpstart my brain?
