I don't know too much about car audio so I need help figuring out what is good and what isn't. I have a mitsubishi Galant 2000. I have the factory audio system and the sound gets distorted after turning it to a certain point. I went to best buy and this is what they recommended.
New Alpine rear and front speakers and Alpine deck $350
Alpine 12 in sub and Sony amp $300
This money doesn't include the installation fee for the amp and sub or the box for the sub or the wires or anything else like that.
Is it really THAT necessary to replace the stock speakers or can I get a pretty clear and decent sound with just the amp and sub?
