I made a avi video file via Windows Movie Maker, but keep failing in uploading part. How can I make it into a flv? I heard this type is better for youtube.

Any suggestions, please?

Dear! There are many converter/encoders available — some free, some cheap, some expensive. If you do a search for "FLV converter" or "FLV encoder" you'll find plenty of options
 
just use real player to convert file
its free
and effective too
