My Rx7 after 20 minutes turns off by itself and doesn't start until it is cold, the strange thing its that it is not overheating, when i look at the temp gauge it is where its supposed to be. any ideas??

It also cuts the power and hesitates at about 5000Rpm if i accelerate it quickly, if i press de pedal slowly the rev counter reaches 8000Rpm he does this either stopped or running, i already changed the fuel pump and spark plugs but nothing changed. if someone can help i would be gratefull.

regards

Some RX7's have cold soldered connections in the ECU. Which may account for some of your problems.
Next thing is to check your exhaust, the running for 20 minutes part could be a plugged catalytic. This is not the only thing that can be causing the problem. A failing temp sensor and or a vacuum leak can also be at fault.
Some place in the intake there is a sensor (inside the MAF of most models) that detects air flow. If no (or insufficient) air flow is detected the ECM turns off the fuel pump.
The RX7 club may have better and more precise information then I am giving you. So check them out of help too.

it could be a bad ecu...

also you might want to just change the cap and rotor as suggested, just to eliminate it from the list.....
