Need help retrieving "History" Info!!?

All righty here's the deal. So yesterday I was online looking at some clothing sites and whatnot and I found this cute pair of jeans I wanted to get, but I wanted to ask my hubby before I bought them because they were rather pricy. So he said that was down with him and then I didn't have an oppurtunity to get back online until today after I came home from work. So the thing is, is I can't seem to find the jeans again and I can't remember which site I was on, so I figured I could just go there again via the history tab. The thing is, I think my hubby deleted it before I came home (though he swears up and down that he didn't, is this possible? I even checked the cookies and they had been deleted too) so I'm kinda stuck. I was wondering if anyone who is computer-inclined would be willing to tell me (give me step by step instructions) on how to see what's been deleted from the history? Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Although I suppose I could just find some other jeans......
