need help re: forgotten lock code on cricket UT

I have a friend whose teenage daughter changed the lock code on her cricket UT phone. apparently it was originally set as the last four digits of her phone, and she changed the lock code and cant remeraber what she set it to. Mom has taken her phone to two different cricket stores to try to unlock phone and they can't do it. any suggestions i can pass along to her?

i know there are easier ways, but i would quickly plug it into the computer and retrieve lock code outta uniCDMA. i use that program mpore than nething to retrieve lock codes cause they pop instantly

*228 the phone and 99.99% resets itself to the last four of the nuraber if they haven't changed the security menu password.

if it will *228 it will reset the lock code to the last 4 of the phone nuraber. alteratively you could try manual nam programming which will also reset the lock code. there are a handfull of phones that will manual program when locked but not *228 and vise versa...
