Here's what happened. I was driving one day and got a flat tire. I had to get to the spare but the sub box was on top of where I get the tire. My box pretty much fills up the trunk and once I got the tire out, All of my wires that run to and from the amp were unplugged. ( The amp is screwed onto the back of my rear seats) Well, I waited a few days to hook it back up. I went to hook it up and I grabbed either the power wire or the ground wire and went to hook it up and I grabbed the wrong wire and it sparked a little. Well, I checked the fuse on the amp and it blew so I changed it. The fuse on the power wire was fine. So I hooked it up correctly this time. Once it was hooked up I turned the car on ( the turn on lead is hooked up to the ignition) Well the car was on but the volume was down but the amp was on. So I turned the volume up but nothing. Here's what the amp was doing. While the volume was up nothing would happen but every few seconds the subs would make a faint sound then nothing and this would happen over and over. Well I checked the power wire the ground wire everything except for the RCA cables ( that run to a line out converter because of the stock radio). I don't know why it would do this but maybe a loose RCA wire that runs into the line out converter. Can anyone help?? I dont think the amp is blown because it turns on but I may be wrong!! the car is 2006 chevy cobalt
