hello i currently have a 55 gallon tank with 8 zebra danios 3 dwarf gourami 1 pleco and 1 black angle.

now im looking for another schooling fish that will get big enough so the angle wont eat them. and please dont say another type of danio

congo tetras get a good size and have really pretty gold and green irridescent bodies. they get a few inches long each, about as big as your gouramis. They usually sell them at fish stores, not places like petsmart.

rainbow fish also like to school and get large enough. The turquoise rainbowfish and boesmani type go really good with angelfish. Blackskirt tetras ban be pretty awesome looking if they are well cared for and have some nice finnage.

Sorry just have to correct your spelling, it's "angel" and not "angle", an "angle" is something you use in math. You know, 90 degree angle, 45 degree angle... very different words with different spellings.

I am not sure but harlequin rasboras might? The angel might still eat them but I am not sure....

i love mollies they are great fish and come in all different colors i have a black molly, white molly, a tiger colored molly, and a redish looking molly they are awesome and if you stick your hand in the tank they come up and suck on your fingers (petsmart worker told me didn't just make it up) i am not sure how big they get but when you get them from the pet store they aren't too big so i am not sure if they would work
