need help on find the HTML page in forums?

when they say i need to put this code in my HTML page where do i find that in my forum page.also am the admin and trying to get chat room going there. i got the code but dont know where to put.

You need to access your html documents on your server and insert the code provided in the location instructed on your documents. Then upload the edited documents back to your server.
