need help on choosing a cheap decent ring flash for my camera.?

i have a canon kiss digital x which is equivalent to a 400D, but anyways, im looking for a ring flash. a decent flash. i dont have the money to buy a Canon MR-14EX Macro Ring Lite flash so im looking more towards the bower or the canon ml-3. ive read some reviews but so far im not confident yet on which to buy. anyone have any experiences on these flashes or any other suggestions?
