need help on a bike frame plzz help!!?

i just brought a specialized p1 frame and i cant seem to get my rear wheel on. it will slide in but i cant get it to turn round coz its rubbing on the downtube are do i need smaller tyers or is it the wrong frame.

this may help i had a saracen xile before
plzz help as i dont want to waste my money!
 
I would check your tire size, it may be too big for that frame. I had a similar problem on an Iron Horse a few years ago went from a 2.1 to a 1.95 in a maxxis tire and the problem went away-poof! just like that.
