For N73, it seems Plemix has good pricing:

As far as speed, N75 is 3G(UMTS) and not much faster than Edge. HSDPA is a diff story.

buy wait, are the nokia phones compatible with american 3G? Someone in another of my posts mentioned that nokia phones dont operate on america's 3g netwrok. Is this true?

No they are not except the N75 which by the time it comes out they will have 5g
