I was doing a franchise business of a brand. Early this year, i fed up with the support of the brand and started my own business on the same line. During my franchise, i have signed an agreement which states that i will not compete with him either directly or indirectly for 2 years upon termination. Now the brand owner terminated me and asked me to close my new business. I have not used any of the materials, information, trade mark etc of the other brand. For my new business, i have created everything new. Can anyone suggest what i need to do for my new business. I am also ready to sell this business to someone (as i have created some IPs on the new business). If i sell this to anyone, will there be any problem for the buyer because of this legal clause. Please help
