Need help? I'm quitting and my coach if freaking?

I told him a few weeks ago. Since then he's been testing me acting like I am still on the team. I finally told him yesterday that was seriously not going to be on the team next year (swim) and he sent me this long text about why I need to stay. He said he's going to talk to me and my mom after the banquet tomorrow, and I'm just wondering what to do here. Im not scared, just trying to figure out what to say. I wanna quit just because I don't want to be on the team anymore. Plain and simple. I've been on two years. Please leave me some feedback.
