Need Help Identifying Sculpture DESPAIR?

It is the picture on my AVATAR or PROFILE pic

I re-created this sculpture in an art class in Highschool and have decided to use its original as a basis of my paper for an art appreciation class.... Please someone help me identify it, i need to give a presentation with relevant info about the artist and technique so any help would be greatly appreciated....

I am passionate about this piece and would not object to using others like it to support some of the imagery for example, head in hands, hunched over vulnerable, etc.....

Please help everyone i would really appreciate it...
 
While it is possible for the image forming your avatar to be much bigger than the thumbnail that shows, yours is not and that tiny thing hardly makes identification possible. Post a much larger image on Flickr or other upload site and bring the URL to your question.
