so i ahve been researching heavily to start getting into electronics for a hobby. i have taken a physics class on it and did pretty well in it and now im reading more on it to make sure im ready to start on my own.

i already have a multimeter lined up to get so i figured i was done. NOT. while reading the book i have it said it would be better if i had a simulator or breadboard to help further understand the concepts they talk about.

i can agree but i dont have the money or computer risk to download the simulator nor do i know enough about breadboards to get one and from what i have read about breadboards, they are limited to what they can do.

so i remember using a power supply in the lab and alot of connection wires. they worked pretty well and i think i can get a cheap multimeter to go along with the one im about to get.

so my question is where can i get a reasonably price power supply to puts out dc and/or ac to experiment from the book and some good connections? thanks

if you have any additional opionions, suggestions, or whatever i would appreciate it. i can use all the help i can get.
