Need Help Getting an Android Handset for AT&T

Backstory:
I live in alaska, and the only decent cell service here is AT&T. I've been on them for years running an HTC TYTTN II on HSDPA and its been great with data speeds. My phone though is dieing and i want a new one. The new winmo phones wont be out till Holidays so i figure its time to go to android.

So long story short i realize its hard to find Android phones with the right antenna and frequencies that will work on full ATT 3G/HSDPA.

I ended up getting a Motorola Milestone from ebay, but it turned out to be the 2g one and not the Telus 3G one, its going back.

ANYWAY, what do you guys know about Android on ATT 3G? At this point i couldnt care about the handset, i just really really really need a new phone and android is what i want!

Problems for me, finding a Telus Milestone is hard on the net. Ebay is scetchy, already been burned. Telus wont ship to NON canadian addresses. What about rogers? will a rogers phone work on my Alaskan 3G/HSDPA?

if not, where could i get a legit Milestone? OR suggest other handsets that will do me right.

Rogers (Canadian) has Android devices that use the AT&T 3G frequencies I believe. Get a Rogers branded Android phone.

Good Idea but You need to unlock the Sim Card

so i couldnt just drop my ATT sim in, i'd have to get an unlock code or something?

so suggestions? like there arent that many phones running eclair out there, which would be baller. Honestly, if you had to pick like right now (my tilt 2 started deleting contacts today lol) what should i dooo?
