need help getting 68 FORD MUSTANG running?

starter been check , battery, spark plugs, all good

i turn key and all i get is a click, wiring is a mess

will take any you give me plz and ty
 
Re-wire it. I kept having wiring problems in my 74 K5. I finally just re-wired the entire rig and made it easy to find the wire I'm looking for when I'm looking for it. No problems since.
