Hi Folks,
I have an ATT Account for the past 3yrs and i'm eligible for an upgrade.
But I wanted to smartphone....as Att enforced the mandatory data from sep which i don't want to .....i waited all these days .
Mine is premier account and when i check the phones in there , It is allowing choose the phone with giving me an option of keep my current rate plan and it is taking to checkout page ( expect for Iphones which is asking me add data) So according to that it is letting me to bypass the data ....but when i called the Att CSR they were saying me wage reasons ...one said the site is wrong and other said ...it can never do that ...and another said .. even it does i have to read on the att page where it shows that i have to get a data for smartphone ......so finally i was pissed got hold of a supervisor and she was telling me ...no matter it shows you or not ... you will be automatically enrolled into the data ..
I don;t get it and she was asked me contact the premier dept which is a totally diff one...and after 45 hold ..i finally got hold of one of the Rep and ,,, i walked him through the steps i when thru and then he started saying it is strange and he said ....though it is allowing to do so .. but you have assume that you have to pay data for that .....it just threw we off !!!!
I have to assume something which is not shown .....and when i asked them ....so if that is the case why iphone is not letting me do so ....they don't have the answer and then hang up the phone ...
I have no clue and no has a answer this .........it really really suck !!
Can Some advise me what should i do ....????
