Need help flashing my xbox 360 hard-drive?

Ok, I was wondering if i could flash my harddrive with my ethernet cable attached to my pc and the 360 itself. If you have a different method i would like to know also thanks in advance

connect the 360 to a router or modem and the router or modem to the pc
