I read a book a while ago, maybe 5-6 years, and would like to find the name. I'll provide as much information I can remember, but my memory isn't the best. (it's also possible that the memories I mention are merged from another book I read around the same time...)
I'm pretty sure it was a title with one or two words, and the cover is a bit hazy, and I might be thinking of another book. BUT from what i remember it was a garden, and a pond with a ghostly sort of dead girl in it.
The plot, I believe had to do with a young boy and his sister. The boy was 'sick' with some illness unknown to the reader and the boy, and was quickly dying.
From there I only remember bits and pieces. There was a sort of garden by their house which was filled with magic. It was a beautiful garden, and had a pond in the middle of it. It is said that a distant family member (and aunt i think) fell in and was never seen again.
There was also a maze, and somehow in this maze you could be transported to another dimension; one where the boy wasn't going to die.
My hopes for ever finding this book aren't too high, since i don't remember so much of it... but I'd thought I'd give it a try.
Also, the book wasn't too huge, and wasn't too small. in the 100-250 pg range i think.
