Need help finding info on Pioneer sub!?

I just got a 12" pioneer free-air series sub for free, and I need info. It says 400 watt, and I would like to know if that's max or rms. On the back it lists the number as TS-W30F. I looked on pioneer's website and it had nothing about it.
 
400 is your MAX power.. 200 RMS. When you purchase your amp, base it on the RMS and not the MAX power. This will ensure great quality power without pushing the amp too hard or overloading the woofer.
