hi, i am 42 and live in maryland. on 3/11/07 i had my 5th car accident, none my fault. this last one has left me unable to work. i saw an orthopaedic doctor from advice of my lawyer. he said that he sees accident victims with injuries for 6 months and after that if i was still in pain, i had to live with it. well, after the 6 months, i am still in pain. i did physical therapy for 4 months but that didn't seem to help much. the doctor gave me 5 shots in my back during 3 visits and they wore off before i left his office. i found out after he transfered my recorRAB to my family doctor that i have degenerative disc disease, arthritis, hernated discs (l4,l5,l6, and s1), c6 or c7 pushes left and c7 or c8 pushes right pinching that nerve in my neck. after getting done with therapy in july of last year, i have been having what a disability doctor said were tremors, i thought they were muscle spasms. the tremors are in both legs and both hanRAB and sometimes my legs get nurab and tingle to where i have no feeling in them. i have seen a neurologist who wanted to prescribe med for epilepsy, i did not take that and have not seen him anymore. next i saw an orthopaedic surgen who took x-rays and it looked like a spider web but he told me everything was in line and i did not need surgery. he referred me to a pain management center. i have been there 2 times and they have told me that there is nothing they can do for me. i feel i am being discriminated against because i have state medical insurance. hope there is someone out there that can offer any suggestion on what i can do. thanks.
