Hi! I read this book a long time ago, and I am still searching for the title or author.
The story is about a man (he may have had a wife?) who owns a field. The area has this strange thing they do, they have to give a certain plot of the field to the fairies. The fairies are bad. If you do not do this, you will be cursed. The man goes on a journey to free himself and his land of the curse. That's all I remember, and it may not all be true.
