I'm doing a report on the aestheticization of violence, and I was looking for an example of violent images within the realm of fine art. Wikipedia had a few pictures, but I don't want to use them, nor should I. I was leaning towards maybe classical art instead of modern art, as I am covering a lot of history in my report as well. Examples would be maybe a famous battle, or the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, or the execution of a historical figure, things like that. If you could give me the title and artist I could look it up, but if you don't know either, then try posting link to that image. I would really appreciate the help on this.
