On my blog, I have a title that uses CSS. I want it to change appearance when the mouse hovers over it, but I also want to make it a link. With the code I have, it sort of works, but the title only changes and becomes clickable when the mouse hovers over a very small spot at the top of the page, not when it's actually over the text. Here are the codes that I used.
<style type="text/css">
#logo a {
position: absolute;
top: 3px;
left: 150px;
font-size: 100px;
z-index: 0;
color: rgba(210,210,210,0.40);
font-weight: normal;
letter-spacing: 10px;
display:block;
}
#logo a:hover {
position: absolute;
top: 3px;
left: 150px;
font-size: 100px;
z-index: 0;
color: rgba(255,255,255,0.75);
font-weight: normal;
letter-spacing: 10px;
display: block;
}
</style>
<div id="logo"><a href="/" title="">{Title}</a></div>
What can I do to make it work?
Alright, I figured out the problem. Apparently the lack of clickability is caused by a "wrap" div which positions the other little columns on my blog. I didn't create this layout, so I don't know exactly what everything does. But when I delete this code, the title works fine...unfortunately that means losing the ability to position the posts. How should I go about doing this?
#wrap {
position: relative;
display: block;
padding-top: 80px;
width: 1010px;
}
And this goes right below the title div in the body.
<div id="col_left">*</div>
<style type="text/css">

left: 150px;
font-size: 100px;
z-index: 0;

font-weight: normal;
letter-spacing: 10px;
display:block;
}
#logo a:hover {
position: absolute;
top: 3px;
left: 150px;
font-size: 100px;
z-index: 0;
color: rgba(255,255,255,0.75);
font-weight: normal;
letter-spacing: 10px;
display: block;
}
</style>
