descriptions (in details)? The first is a city that's mostly sunny and warm (Florida is the state that comes to mind, but it doesn't have to be in Fla!), within an hour drive of a beach, and within an hour or two hour drive of some mountains. A classy city that doesn't have a HUGE night-time scene, but maybe a college town with a couple of bars where mostly college kids go out. (In other words, cities like Miami would be "too dirty" for what I'm going for).
The other place I'm looking for needs to be a small town, preferably one that is about a 3-hour drive from the city mentioned above. This one should be very small and country in nature....not one you'd find on the map...
Do you think it's better to use real or "make believe" cities and towns for fiction stories?
