Ok, I'm a 22yr old male, about 5"8 and only way 145lbs. I am looking to purchase my first sport bike(used). 2003 & up. And don't want to pay more then $3500. Will probably buy it off Craigslist.
I am looking for something easy to learn on that doesn't have a too much power, but something that will still accommodate highway riding around 60mph.
How much of a difference is there between the ninja 250 and the 500? As far as handling, shifting, and maneuvering around turns and such.
How much of a difference is there between the GS500 and the GSX600? As far as handling, shifting, and maneuvering? And what is a Katana? And what is the difference between a Katana and the other 2 Suzuki's?
Right now Im really debating between the ninja 250 and GS 500. My big question is which of the 2 have a better feel and ride? Is there a big difference in clutch feel? A big difference in shifting? Are they both just as easy to shift? And which one is easier to handle?
I know the obvious things to ask like how new are the tires, breaks, battery, and chain are, when were the oil and fluids changed last, look to see if or how many times it was dropped or slid, make sure turn signals,horn, lights ect. work, how many miles it has , when it was last inspected, and make sure title and everything is legitimate. Assuming they won't let me test drive it is there anything else I should ask that I would want to be aware of?
