ok so im gonna buy a hp dv7t laptop here are the specs
os: windos vista (64-bit)
processer: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.2GHz)
memory: 4g
hard drive: 250g
graphic card: 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
im woundering if thats a good laptop for games like wow and cod. should i make it stronger or is that good??
also does duo procceser means that the number it says i mult by 2??
thanks

Yes that does seem good, it might be harder to find a better one because of the limations for laptops.

I don't see much you could do, although if it has the options of a a better duo core or quad core processor (recently released on laptops) you should get it, but not likely an option for the quad core.

as for the duo thing. Yes so it is like a single core processor that is at 4.4 ghz but only for games and programs that fully support multicore processor. If you older games it might be only able to use 1 processor core instead of both, although most modern games now can support dual core processor and many also support quad core processors too.

duo is just a dualcore proc and contrary to popular belief no it does not mean you multiply the speed by 2. for games like WOW and COD1 its fine you wont need more than that. but for modern games id suggest a better proc.

the specs on the whole are very good, especially the video card, you cant simply take a duo processor and multiply it by two though, even though it does have two cores, there are just too many factors around 1.6 is probably a more accurate multiplication -

This configuration is quite enough to serve your purpose duo processor means double.
