need help building a dog house....?

ok so my dog is getting the boot from inside the house to the back yard..instead of buying an expensive dog house i thought i can make one..my idea was to get plywood, cut that into pieces and just screw it together (of course doing measurements) does that seem ok? and i want her to keep warm so what can i put inside to help with that too??

Like the first poster said an a-frame house like yours but smaller. you can also put shingles on if you want to. But it will be warm enough. (wal-mart has had some decent plastic ones that are fairly warm all you need is some blankets or a bed.
