need help asap 2004 Kawasaki Prairie 700 4x4 will not work?

ok here is the deal i got a 2004 Kawasaki Prairie 700 4x4 and the 4 wheel drive wont work the drive shaft will spin but the front tires wont and what is the part called that makes the front tires spin when u are in 4 wheel drive
 
Not familiar with these, but I wonder if it has lockers on the hubs? I didn't think any new vehicles had them anymore. Look in the center of the front rims for a device that you should be able to twist with your fingers, if it has them twist to the Lock position.
You don't mention any sounds like maybe a cat getting strangled so I don't think anything broke.
