Need good organizer ability but also good internet. Any to compare with BB?

I enjoy a good day planner and or calendar which I understand BB is more business oriented in this area? I would not be a big business user just to keep me better organized. I also understand BB is not very good as a internet phone.

My question is are there any phones that come with similar business organizers or personal organizers? I am a moderate texter and do like a phone with good voice recognition plus I want a good internet phone. Don't care about games or music on there really.

Would I be better with an IPhone or Android phone and try and find a good personal organizer and have a better quality phone overall rather than limiting myself to the BB?

Thanks for any suggestions.
 
Why not consider an HP Pre3 when they come out? Or the Pre2 on Rogers if you don't care about the newest hardware. Great organizer, contact syncing, calendar syncing, very slick OS and browser.

Downside is obviously not as many apps as iPhone or Droid, but WebOS does more than iOS does natively, so there's less need for a billion apps (e.g. the SMS app includes built-in Gchat/Yahoo chat support, etc etc). And really, how many fart apps, etc do you need? Better quality of apps for WebOS vs the quantity of iPhone ones.
