Asphalt could have been better but just didn't cut in in many ways. The graphics tried too hard and while they are really nice in some places--the Las Vegas board is nice--I found them to be choppy in others. I'm not crazy about the way the cars feel when playing or the overall theme of the game in general. There's too much going on as far as what you need to do to win. I'm a straight forward type of guy. I'm usually playing in my spare time and I think the learning curve is too steep for Asphalt. The garage is the best part of the game. Buying cars, adding stuff to them and just looking at them was done really well. But if I'm in the mood for a racing game, 9.5 out of 10 I'm opening Raging Thunder 2. I LOVE that game. If I was rating both games I'd give RG2 about 4.7 and Asphalt in the 3.5 range. It's good but could be better. RG2 is an all around winner and a nearly perfect game.
