I lost my 60,000$/year job 4 months ago, am going through the appeal process to try to get unemployment, at the same time, my husbands Multiple Sclerosis relpased and he missed almost 3 weeks of work without pay. We are now about 2 months late on our house payment but planning on making a payment next week when he gets paid. We are also late on our car payment. I live in fear everyday that my house will be taken or car. How long can you go before they take action. We have had the house 5 years and never have been late before. Please do not be rude, I am very educated and know I need to contact the bank who has the loan and perhaps look into debt consolidation basically I am just in panic and know I will not hear from an attorney or the bank in a short amount of time , that is why I am posting on here to hear from people who maybe have been in this situation. Thanks in advance.
