Need cooking help: campbells cream of chicken soup and swanson chicken broth?

I am trying to make creamy chicken noodle soup with campbells cream of chicken noodle, swanson chicken broth, and a roasted chicken.. I also have some carrots, celery, and noodles to add
i found this recipe that i think im going to use:
My favorite is chicken and rice- I make 8 cups of cooked rice, add one large can of cream of chicken, add cut up cooked chicken (I prefer to shred mine), add 3-4 cups of milk, and add 1/2 cup of butter or margarine, and mix all together.... add salt and pepper and it is sooooooo good!
 
saute your carrots and celery first
add the chicken broth
cook the noodles in the broth
add the cream soup and the roasted chicken heat through
if the soup seems too thick add milk to get it to the desired consistency
 
Sounds fine... combine all and simmer, hopefully the chicken is cooked, debone and add to soup in chunks.
 
Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

1 tablespoon butter
1/2 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 can chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
Celery
Carrots
Cooked noodles
Roasted chicken cut up

Melt butter in the pot.
Stir in onion and garlic celelry and carrots
and cook 5 minutes or until tender

Add broth,noodles water and soup
Add chicken,cook until warmed about 20 minutes
