I am fed up with Moto and will not be buying anymore of their products. I am looking for another brand.....Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericson or whatever. Here are the things that are important to me:

Triband: 900/1900/1800. I'll be in Europe so the most important bands are 900/1900. I already have CDMA service in the US with Verizon so I don't care about the other bands. I already have my prepaid SIM card.

Bluetooth: I would like bluetooth because I already have a headset and I much prefer it to the corded headsets.

Large screen or at least large font: This is so that it's easy on my eyes.

SMS Capabilities.

I don't care if it has a camera or whehter its a flip phone or not. I just want it to be cheap and of decent quality with excellent ability to hold onto a signal. ANy suggestions? BTW, I've been browsing eBay and Phonescoop (for reviews) all day and am posting here to get some suggesitons.

to me, nokia has the best 1900mhz reception. Actually just the best reception all around.

any nokia should be pretty good
check out the N70

I've just recently lost my SE T610 and really miss it. I've had it for years and used it as a backup phone. I've been shopping for another backup (haven't decided yet on which one) and am watching some on ebay for almost exactly the $ you mention. Great basic phone, convenient. Check it out.

well, I bought my phone earlier today. Had to spend over my budget but it was still a lot cheaper than full retail and it was quad band, with bt and good reviews...I got the SE Z520i for $171 including shipping and "handling" from eBay.............actual phone cost was around $140, brand new, which isn't bad. It will be here in the next few days and hopefully I can keep it for a few years through several trips to Europe, Canada and perhaps South America.
