We are trying to buy a 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L with RES. No Trade.

The sticker price is $34,000 and they have come down to 30,000 (that is the 3500 off they have going right now). We really feel that $27,000 plus TTL would be more fair.

We had to leave yesterday after 3 hours in the dealership to pick up my daughter from the baby sitter. They called yesterday evening to let us know we qualified for financing but we did not have time to talk about price.

Do I call them back this morning or do I wait for them to call me?

How do I get the price lower?

Thank you for serious answers!!

I think your expectations are a little high wanting to get $7000 off the the price of a best-selling Odyssey with a sticker price of $34,000. The dealer margin is only about $3000 but there is a factory-to-dealer rebate of $3500. So if you are a good negotiator, you might be able to get close, assuming the dealer wants to give you all his rebate and margin.

Seriously, dont buy a NEW one, where a 1 year old one will cost 30% LESS, and will still be like new.

Dont be foolish just so you can have a "new car"

If you want a lower price, walk out and go somewhere else!
