Need advise, at my wits end!

Hi all, i hope somenone can help advise or at least share there stories and give me hope.

It all started back in dec08 when i noticed that i was always getting pins and needles in my feet/legs/arms.

After another attack of vertigo i went to the docs after christmas and told im and i was reffered to a neruro.
At the time i had a tingling in my arms and legs, attacks of vertigo, clumbsey sometimes, dizzy, going numb, full pins and needles for 7 hours one time, leg felt heavy when walking. terrible low back/hip pain, hurts to walk at time, and getting from sitting to standing is a nightmare at times, i feel like im 90.
Now my right arm feels heavy and slow.

Ive seen my nero, had a ct scan which was normald amd a head and neck mri which was normal aprt from showing i had extra grey matter which apparently is of no concern.

I have reduced feeling in the tops of my feet and hands.
I can be doing a hot water bottle and spill some on my hand and it doesnt hurt even though its boiling hot, i can feel it but i wouldnt say it was boiling hot.

All blood tests have come back as normal apart from a low white blood count.

My neuro has put everything down to a migraine with aura which both me and my partner think is total bull.

I have never had a mri of the spine and wonder if that would shed some light on things.

I really am at my wits end with it all and would love any views/opinions on it.

thanks in advance.

I would absolutely get a second opinion and get more information on this "extra grey matter". Where is it? Is it compressing another part of the brain perhaps? This all started from dec, so it's not usual for you. Something is wrong somewhere. Maybe there is a teaching hospital in your area that is connected to university that you can go to. Go somewhere however. Just because one doc can't find the answer, doesn't mean there isn't one.

A friend with MS has had most of those symptoms at one time or another. Migraine with aura was talked about initially.....a firm diagnosis can take years for some folks. An MRI of the spine might not be a bad idea.
